Riviera Biotech Company took part in the conference of the Moscow School of Urology, which was held in Moscow on June 17-18.
The school was created on the initiative of the Moscow City Government and the Moscow City Health Department. The Moscow School of Urology is an element of compulsory continuing medical education.
Today, the school is considered one of the most successful medical education projects which uses European teaching methods and solves the problem of standardizing urologists’ knowledge.
Yakov Mirkin, a representative of our company, made a report on Bladder Instillations without Catheter, which aroused genuine interest among the participants of the event.
It is known that bladder instillation with drug solutions is an effective method of treating various bladder diseases:
- Interstitial cystitis
- Radiation cystitis
- Chronic bacterial cystitis
- Overactive bladder
Catheterization is usually necessary to inject medications into the bladder. However, bladder catheterization is not exactly a pleasant procedure, even for women and certainly for men.
Professor Sandor Lovas, a urologist from Hungary, has developed a device for injecting medication into the bladder without a catheter and, accordingly, without unpleasant sensations.
The Moscow School of Urology promotes the professional development of urologists and doctors of related fields. Participation in such events allows you to share experiences with colleagues and contribute to the development of urology.
